One of the priorities of Mariana Paulíková Law Firm is to agree with its clients mutually the best possible way of remuneration or optimal for the specific case in accordance with Act no. 586/2003 Coll. on Advocacy, as amended, and Decree of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic no. 655/2004 Coll. on Remuneration and Compensation for Attorneys Providing Legal Services as amended.
Remuneration may be negotiated as:
o hourly rate- the number of hours spent on the case effectively (total remuneration is agreed upon an hourly rate multiplied by the number of hours spent by attorney in course of the performance of legal services),
o tariff fee- the number of transactions and value of things. Should the base rate tariff of remuneration is not agreed otherwise, in determining its value, the present attorney tariff is applied- Article 10 (1) of the Decree of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic no. 655/2004 Coll. on Remuneration and Compensation for Attorneys Providing Legal Services as amended.
o flat rate- for the provision of services for a determined period or for the full completion of the case. Flat fee is particularly suitable for those clients with regular need for legal services in a stable volume.
o success fee- set as a share from the value of the case in the event of success (i. e. a percentage of the claim granted in the case)
o fixed fee- represents a fixed amount for completing the matter, regardless of time demands and complexity of the legal service.
ocombined fee- depending on the nature of a specific matter .
